Can't help but feel kind of sorry for Mike Shanahan, fired as Bronco's football coach last year, and will only collect $7 million this year. Couldn't they have rounded it up to $ 10 million? Seems the least ... I'll bet if any of you ever were or ever will be fired, you'll fare better than that.
It's great when the taxpayers' subsidy of the $400 million dollar stadium, and the fans ticket prices can help assuage the pain of a coach being fired.
Old man Tom Watson blasts through the British Open to win it at age 59. Well, after all he beat Jack Nicklaus to win it 32 years ago; so weren't you expecting him to do it again? Some think that if Watson makes some bad mistakes in his life and ends up in the wrong place afterwards, that he may feel at home since they have courses down there much like at Turnberry Scotland.
