Tarot class has room for more students

I really enjoyed teaching my first of six consecutive beginning Tarot classes yesterday at Nic Nac Nook. I'm happy to take on more students if you would like to join us next Saturday.

Here are the details:

This 6 week class meets every Saturday at 10:30 AM, and continues through Sat. Oct. 24, 2009. We'll take a break on Oct. 17.

We began Week 1 with the Pentacles, and understanding the journey of Earth and fortune. Week 2 introduces you to the Swords, and understanding the journey of air and intellect. Week 3 you will learn about The Cups, and understanding the journey of water and emotion. Week 4 you will add The Wands, and understanding the journey of fire and creative freedom. Week 5 brings in The Major Arcana, the archetypes of the hero's journey.

Then Week 6 ties it all together by exploring different layouts and practicing readings. We will also begin practice reading on Saturday, Sept. 19, using both the Pentacles and the Swords suits, so if you will be joining us beginning Sept. 19, we can catch you up a little on the Pentacles suit.

Each week you will learn about a different pathway that Tarot presents. We will discuss the beginning stages of each suits' story and follow them to their conclusions, and then look at the hero's journey in the Major Arcana.

Please bring at least one deck to each class, if you have one. So far we've had no trouble sharing.

This class is $55. Each class is approximately 90 minutes.

Click on this link for Nic Nac Nook's home page to find out how to contact them to register for the class, though I am sure you can walk in at 10 am to register this Saturday. Their address is 4280 Morrison Road, Denver.

Many thanks!
