Blog Entry 10 of 15 Things, news, whatnot
I'm Karen Ward Gilbert, a (former) community journalist here at YourHub.com. In this blog, I may (have written) about current events, the latest happenings at YourHub.com or blather ranging from what I overheard on the bus to my new favorite chocolate bar.

Were you at Taste of Colorado on Friday?
Contributed by: Karen Ward Gilbert/YourHub.com   on 9/1/2006

I manned the YourHub.com booth at Taste of Colorado on Friday, Sept. 1. Which is to say I pawned free YourHub.com disposable cameras off on the food-filled public and took some photos of people standing behind the big wood cutout of our mascot, Dot the Dog.

We'll be there all weekend folks, so be sure to stop by for your very own picture taken with Dot.

It was the first day of the food fest and it got off to a bit of a slow start at 11 a.m. But by the time I went back to work around 2 p.m., the crowd was going strong.

Did you attend Taste of Colorado today? What was your favorite vendor? Register, if you haven't already, log in and leave a comment below. Better yet, post a story or start a blog of your own.
