Different Rhymes for Different Times
Pretty much just some street-type rhymin' goin' on here. Some rhymes might have proper grammar, but most of 'em probably won't. Nothin' fancy. Kinda just however I'm feelin' at any given time. Sometimes there'll be an explanation for the rhyme, sometimes there won't be. Not a whole lot of words endin' in the letter "g". Hopefully nobody ever gets offended by anything I write. That is definitely not my intention. Just kinda writin' out my feelings in rhyme, that's all.

With a tear in my eye, I threw my fists towards the sky
and I screamed "Dear God, why do people have to die?!"
Time heals all wounds, that's what they say
so please, Dear God, take this pain away.....
And as I stood by myself, all alone in the dark
crying and sighing at the edge of the park
the skies opened up and the rain started falling
Though I didn't see God, I surely heard His voice calling
He said "Be easy, my child, for I truly feel your pain."
Then He held me, and warmed me, and dried me from the rain
Then God said "I've listened to your anger, and I've watched as you cried
I have felt every pain that you've ever had inside
This isn't the first time that I've watched you fall
and at all of your darkest hours, who do you call
When you are scared, when you hurt, it's always the same
When you are sad, or alone, it's then you call out my name
Just look at yourself, open your eyes and see
it's when I take away from you that you come closer to me
I know what I'm doing, child, and make no mistake
I take care of, forever, those that I take"
And as I stood there with God, no longer alone in the dark
thinking and rethinking at the edge of the park
I understood that every moment, good and bad, was already planned
and I started walking home with God holding my hand
