Worst fireworks photos ever
Contributed by: Brendan Leonard/YourHub.com   on 7/5/2006

Anyone who was at Invesco Field for the Rapids game on July 4 will tell you that the fireworks were awesome, and not in the way I yell, "Awesome!" when I see something cool. They were awesome like Mount Everest is awesome -- huge, breathtaking, unbelievable. I was pretty sure they were going to blow a hole in the sky, or my forehead.

My girlfriend was at Invesco Field for the fireworks, and she'll tell you that I'm the worst fireworks photographer of all time. I am. I've compiled some of my best shots from last night in a little slide show. You will be disappointed, kind of like you would be if Dad burned your hamburger at yesterday's barbecue.

To post your own photos from the Fourth (there's no way they can be worse than mine), click here.

Awesome. I'd stick to your day job, Brendan. Or at least to taking photos in the daytime.

These photos did capture the Neil-Diamond-ness of the fireworks show pretty well, though.
