I do a lot of crazy things for this job, and today's duties were no exception. I risked my shins photographing speeding go-karts (carts?) driven by Denver media representatives, pretty girls in really short shorts, and

This weekend, fast cars will rip around the track at the
Grand Prix of Denver
, and beautiful women and celebrities will be spotted in the crowd attending the event. The Mini Grand Prix Go-Kart Challenge was like a smaller version of that, except that Frankie Muniz is a pretty high-level celebrity. It might have been more fitting to have somebody who once appeared on
The Real World
or something like that.

raced in the second heat of the Go-Kart Challenge, and neither qualified for the final heat, which pitted the top four racers against each other (that Frankie Muniz can tear it up on a Go-Kart -- I saw it with my own eyes).
Eric was kicked out of the race after about five laps, because he couldn't seem to make it around the first turn without whaling the retaining "wall", which had a steel stake sticking up just behind it. Travis made it through the entire heat without getting disqualified, which may be why he's the boss here and Eric isn't.
