HubCap: We give you vicarious garage sale shopping
Contributed by: Brendan Leonard/YourHub.com   on 4/4/2007

My favorite new YourHub.com user:
Joe Brow, of Westminster, is going to chronicle his adventures mining garage sales in the northwest metro area and then selling his purchases on eBay for way more than he paid for them. I'm a bit of a junk hound myself, but I mostly limit it to clothes and bicycles. Check out Joe's first blog, and if you check his eBay seller ID, you can see his vintage soda bottle collection. Well, I thought it was pretty cool.

Slow down, you move too fast:
Anthonette Klinkerman can't understand why other drivers have to zoom around her to get to the next red light, where she ends up sitting right next to them. And if everybody's in such a hurry all the time, why is it okay for everyone to be late all the time? Indeed.

(Also, here's a link to the The 59th Street Bridge Song.)

That's one way to look at it:
Erin Di Paolo: "Oh, Oh. We think it is horrible to say a bad word, but we don't go to the doctor to get our annual pap smears? So we die, leaving our kids without a mother, but at least we have a clean mouth!"

Best pun involving Vicki Sue Robinson:
Lilly Allison, a chef for Bella Cuisine in Lakewood, has started a blog on YourHub.com, and is sharing some of her recipes. When I started reading this blog about her relationship with beets, I couldn't remember if I'd ever eaten beets or not. But her Sweet-Beet Slaw sounds pretty decent.

Might be a good idea for those Louisiana fifth-graders:
The Rocky Mountain News reports that the Colorado Senate today gave preliminary approval to a bill requiring school districts that teach sex ed to cover contraception, not just abstinence. Sounds like it could be a little controversial. What do you think? __________________________________________________________
