HubCap: Drivers hit everything on my block
Contributed by: Brendan Leonard   on 5/12/2008

It's like a bowling alley
In 2006, Theresa DeGroote, of Arvada, wrote a letter to the city manager suggesting some traffic calming measures on her street, after two parked cars were hit across the street from her. Since then, someone hit her neighbor's truck while it was parked in his driveway, and another driver hit another neighbor's house. Still, no traffic calming measures.

This ought to start some arguments
Blogger Jim McAllister on mothers who work: "I have nothing against motherhood or women in the workplace but come on ladies, fair is fair. You chose to have a family and work full time. If you have to inconvenience others because of your lifestyle, that is not fair."

Sounds one-sided
Blogger Tom Treloar on John McCain's interview with Bill O'Reilly: "I have come to the conclusion that there are three liberals running for the office of the presidency. In my opinion conservatives are sitting out this election."

If he could turn back time
When he thinks about his life so far, blogger Patrick Bunn regrets:
1. That he let Arthur Treachers Fish and Chips go out of business.
2. That he didn't get to more Business Man Specials with the Denver Bears.
3. That the teen night club has gone the way of the horse and carriage. Not because he would be frequenting one.
And a bunch more.

But it has hip-hop
Joe Hursh, of Golden, says the current generation's music has no soul.
