Bad Mom
I call myself Bad Mom because at the time I came up with it, I was learning about the assumptions we put behind our words. I was following the pattern of not believing that my kids are okay, and speaking to them from that basis. I changed that, and it made a big difference. I am from Utah and my people are still living there. My husband was in the Air Force and we rattled around until we saw Colorado, and we stuck.

How do you judge how many stars to give the blogs on YourHub?
Me, I'll take any stars at all. A one-star if someone read my blog and hated it is just fine. Respectful and let's me know I'm noticed.
A two-star is like, "you didn't put your point across."
But what's a three-star? Is it like, "You're trying very hard, aren't you?" Or would that be a two-star?
I usually give posts all the stars because I like them and I'm glad to see what's on someone's mind. People here are good writers in general, some of them more than some of us. But then I think the validity of all those stars gets diluted.
Who am I kidding? I love stars as much as I liked them when Sunday school teachers would stick a little star sticker on my forehead.
If I gave more varied amounts of stars, I wonder what effect that would have.
Am I taking this matter too seriously?
But really, I come to enjoy hearing from regular bloggers and inasmuch as we have a not-very-real relationship to one another, these bloggers are kind of like friends. I try to comment on others' as much as I have time for, because it keeps the area lively.
And, if I do two blog posts in a day, is that annoying?
One wonders about these things.

Hard to say. Ego boost, scrore keeper, goal of the writer. Stars can be used in many ways. I try to let whatever people give me bother me or make me proud. I sure wish the low-ballers would leave a comment though. Let me know what's on their mind.
