Bizzare Denver bazaar: Get your craft on

I just got the press release for the Brooks Center "Spring Greening Bazaar" event that will contain not only the craftiest of local crafts, but also performances by local all-stars like Paper Bird, Married in Berdichev, New Denver Orchestra and a whole lot more.

Here's the press release in full:

THIS APRIL 12TH BAZAAR'S THEME IS "SPRING GREENING" AROUND WHICH THERE WILL BE MUCH CONTENT OF SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY (ENVIRONMENTALLY, ECONOMICALLY, INTERPERSONALLY, ETC.

The main purpose of Bizarre Denver Bazaar event is to promote community by bringing individual, independent, or somewhat isolated artist / groups in Denver together within a forum where they can share their activities tangibly and verbally, providing a fertile ground for conversation, cooperation and collaboration. This event seeks to provide people with one opportunity to show support locally, an alternative to a globalized economy, and to spread information about the diverse activity going on within our own community, not to mention how to get involved with it.

ACTS CONFIRMED:

paper bird, vox feminista, the paper stars, New Denver Orchestra, Laura Goldhamer, Married in Berdichev, abe abraham, Radical Knitting Circle, Bonnie Daugherty, able and hDot, the vinyl flies, john grigsby's area postrema, and more to be announced.
