Let's get on with genome engineering
Contributed by: Delmar Knudson   on 4/12/2008

Enough already, on this genome studying stuff. Surely we know enough now to engage in some serious human engineering. Let's start producing people with tubular legs and feet who fit tubesox. And, people who fit the "one size fit's all" clothes.

And what about manufacturing people who fit into those airline seats?

We've known about 6 or 8 handed Gods from India for centuries; how about producing some 4 to 6 handed people who can drink coffee, man a cellular phone, put on lipstick, wave, signal, and steer with one hand?

How about people with short thighs and a round butt so they can fit on those lunch counter barstools?

Also more flexibility in the spine and extremities, so they can ooze and slide into those small sport cars.

How about specially small, slim forearms, hands and fingers so one can operate those little laptops, PDA's, Cellphones, and teensy cameras with the itty - bitty controls?

Let's get with the breakthroughs!
