Blog Entry 13 of 30 Marsh in the Mile High City
All the Real World Denver news that's fit to post. If you don't want to watch the mother of all reality shows read my weekly episode recap.

Episode 15: Love is in the Mile High air
Contributed by: Marcelo Duran   on 2/15/2007

Previously on the Real World: Stephen needs to see his girlfriend really bad because all the Denver chicks are tempting. Tyrie hooking up with his squeeze Jazzalle and the Davis/Stephen gay debate sprung up.

"I think it's good he sees a gay couple."
-Davis, on hopes that Stephen and P.J. get along.

In honor of the love massacre known as St. Valentine's Day, we are blessed with the couple's episode. Or at least we get refamiliarized with the roommates that have a significant other. Sorry, Alex, Colie, Brooke and Jenn, you are not the center of attention this week.
Before couple's madness ensues, Colie, Jenn and Davis head down to the Civic Center for the gay pride fest. It's rather odd that they drive there since they could've hopped on the 16th Street Mall Shuttle.
They shop around and see gay-friendly teddy bears and rainbow performers. In the midst of the same-sex relationship jamboree, Davis finds a gay friendly church.
Back at the house Davis calls up his boyfriend, P.J., who is coming to visit. It looks like Merci is visiting at the same time, which should prove interesting. (But turns out not to be.)
At Croc's the boys talk about Davis being gay and he shatters the stereotype because he doesn't act the way Stephen thinks gays act
Meanwhile, Tyrie is on the phone with Jazalle and he's trying to get her over there but she is skittish because she is only in lingerie from the previous party she was at. But Tyrie tells her that he's going to walk the streets naked to make her feel comfortable. Jazalle bets Tyrie that he won't walk naked. And then he heads out in his birthday suit. A taxi honks at T-diddy.
Stephen begins to say hi to Jazalle, but then sees big T and little T. Tyrie apologizes to his grandma and says he needed to win the bet.
It's morning once again, Davis and Stephen head to Church, First Baptist over by the state capitol where they hear the word of God, bibles in hand.
On the way back to the house Davis talks about how the bible is old and stuff and how outdated it is.
They aren't as lazy as the girls since they walked from First Baptist back to the house.
Davis opens up to Stephen and talks about how his mother thinks he won't be successful because he'll get AIDS. He is a bit bitter with his mom because she isn't too happy with the gay business.
It gets serious for a second as Davis explains how his mother didn't want him back in the house and his brother was angry because of what he's doing.

It's guy love
The gang head over to their least favorite club, Monarck to kick up their heels and then head back to the house.
Brooke asks what Davis is going to do if they want to get it on in the room he shares with Stephen. He says that he will have to grin and bear it. And Brooke will have another guy she likes but cannot have.
In the morning, Davis drives over to DIA to pick up his buddy P.J. He waits for him at the main concourse and share a quick hug and head on over to the car.
Where kiss away from the glare of public scrutiny, but not far enough away fro the real world dashboard cam.
Davis introduces P.J. to all the housemates. P.J is introduced to the resident crackpot, Brooke and her first impression is that he is innocent, sweet and has a hot body.
They head over to Davis and Stephen's room and they get in bed together, and a little hanky panky ensues, but Stephen decides to head down to the guest room since he says he can't handle sleeping and the two love birds getting it on a mere few feet away.
Jazalle and Tyrie try to make it into the guest room to get in some late night lovin', but they discover someone is already in there.
Tyrie gets mad because Stephen is in the guest room and he catches him asleep in his powder blue underpants and he tries to convince him to swap his bed for the guest bed.

No wait, it's guy on girl love
The next day Stephen is one to head out to the airport.
When he sees and hugs Mercii at the airport he begins to reaffirm his love.
Stephen says he realizes that Mercii is the one that he loves and feels stupid for all the kissing and cheating he's done in Denver.
After dropping off the luggage at the house they head over to Rise and meet crazy Jenn, crazier Colie and the rest of the cast.
They dance the night away hugging and kissing and in the morning Stephen and Mercii have a pillow fight in the room, while Davis and P.J. are making out in the public shower. The two happy couples go and have dinner at Cru and it's an opportunity to learn about each other.
The long-distance relationship comes up and he gets grilled about whether they are going to get accepted. The Christian talk comes up
Davis gets the invite for Thanksgiving and the experience has taught him to let loose of his conservative roots. They head out into the night with no drama or any type of conflict, what's up with that?

More questions to ponder as we all dream of turning the groundhog into a shoe cover....

Will Brooke ever find the crazy man of her dreams?

Will Stephen and Mercii still be an item after she sees him in the hot tub with the Real World groupies?

Will the bible get its long overdue editorial review for the new millennium?

What will be Tyrie's arrestable offense?

Next on the Real World: Colie's boyfriend makes an appearance in Denver and
Jenn and Alex decide to make out, even though she said she was disgusted by him? Brooke yells at Jenn and goes on the tirade of the season.
