Greetings. I'm the editor at YourHub.com and I use this blog to share what's going on in my 'hood and beyond. If you're curious, the North Denver Doorbell is the regular honking we hear in our neighborhood as motorists approach alley intersections or when they don't feel like getting out of their cars to politely knock or ring a doorbell.

Some 37 people were arrested near Fenway Park in Boston early today for getting raucous after the Red Sox win. The city will hold a parade for its World Series champs tomorrow.

Rockies fans have been a picture of friendly fan-dom since our Colorado team began careering to their National League pennant win and beyond. Where is Denver's parade?

The Rocky's April M. Washington reported today that a celebration for the Blake Street Bombers may be little more than a weak rumor now.

Where do you stand? Good way to save money? Dishonor to the baseball team? Would a parade just serve as a pity party since the Rox didn't go all the way? Have insider information on Mayor Hickenlooper and Rockies Manager Clint Hurdle working on a clever commercial announcing a celebration?

Indeed. Seth, Erin, Brit, Kevin, Joey and I had a great time at the rally (now if I can just forget that scary Rockies robot guy).

There HAS to be a parade to honour this excellent team and the wild ride they staged this October. Failing to win the World Series this year is disappointing, but getting there was AMAZING. We the fans need to line the parade route and cheer as loud as a capacity Coors crowd to thank these guys for playing their hearts out.
