And one last time.

THANK YOU.

We've had a lot of highs. We had those Bucknell and Bradley games. We had Carmelo and Jim Boeheim take one away from Roy, only to watch him leave for Carolina blue. We've had wait till next year. We had missed free throws....a lot of missed free throws.

I've had to endure ridicule from friends for my love affair with you...my unrealisitc realistic expectations that I bandied about. I've had 7th grade where I seemingly wore only KU gear. I watched Wayne Simien choke. I watched Paul Pierce and Drew Gooden leave early. I had wait until next year.

But on Monday night, next year came and I felt like a proud parent watching their child do something amazing.

And we had Danny Manning on the side line.

And Roy Williams was in the stands sporting the Hawk.

I'm smiling from ear to ear.

Now the trash talking begins.
