My quiz would first ask people what category they get lumped into: Republican or Democrat. They'd have to choose one or the other, just for the sake of a point.

I'd ask people their views on the following things:

End of capitalism: Please/hell no.

The national debt: not a serious worry/killing us.

The trade deficit: worry/don't worry.

Wind and Solar energy: Only develop them/what a joke.

Nuclear energy: needed/no way.

Mass vegetarianism: need it/no way.

National service requirement: good idea/wrong-o.

Capitalism: Maintain/phase out.

With Dems ruling, the future is going to be worse/better.

Healthcare reform: unneeded/needed free/public option or nothing.

American exceptionalism is: Jingoistic/a good example.

The electoral college: abolish/keep.

End political parties: yes/no.

Illuminati-shadow government: definitely exists/pshaw.

Freedom of speech: Threatened/not threatened.

School choice: absolutely/no.

Illegal immigration: amnesty/stop the flood.

English as state language: Yes/no.

Get us out of Afghanistan: Yes/no

Early term abortion: okay/no way

Civil Union for all: yes/no

Gay marriage: yes/no

I am completely confident you couldn't tell a person's political tendencies by their answers.
