Blog Entry 3 of 15 Praying Through Your Pregnancy
Now is the time to start praying for your unborn baby. My new book, Praying Through Your Pregnancy will be out in Spring 2010. I prayed for everything I could possibly think of during those nine (really 10) months of pregnancy and you can too.

It’s Positive, I’m Pregnant!!

I can't believe that this was almost 5 years ago to the date. This was such a wonderful time for me to find out that I was pregnant, right around Thanksgiving! God really knew what he was doing. Even though I wanted to be pregnant months earlier, everything turned out according to His plan...

November 22: It's official. I just got a positive result on the pregnancy test. I can't believe I'm pregnant! I'm so excited! It's Thanksgiving in three days. I'll wait until then and give my husband something to really be thankful for! I can't wait to see the expression on his face. This is going to be the best Thanksgiving ever.

November 24: I can't wait till tomorrow. I'm going crazy being the only one who knows I'm pregnant-well, besides God. I've decided how to spring the happy news. I made Dan a card and wrote "To Daddy" on the envelope. Then for the note on the inside, I wrote:

Dear Daddy,

You don't know me yet, but I'm growing inside of mommy. I can't wait to meet you. I know you're going to be the best father in the world. I know you will love me unconditionally. If I decide to be a garbage collector or a doctor, it will never matter to you. I know you'll always be there for me and always protect me. I love you so much and want to be just like you when I grow up.

Mommy says that you're a very hard worker but that you have a soft side, too. Please be extra nice to mommy these next 9 months, because she's a little scared about what's going to happen with me growing inside of her. Love her and hug her lots because I can feel it, too! I can't wait to meet you, daddy.

Love, Your Baby.
