Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post writer David Maraniss will be the guest speaker for the next edition of "Rocky Talk - The Art of Conversation" at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 31 in the lobby of the Denver Newspaper Agency building at 101 W. Colfax Ave.
Maraniss, author of best-selling biographies of Vince Lombardi, Bill Clinton and Roberto Clemente, will talk about his new book, "Rome 1960 - The Olympics that Changed the World." The book tells the behind the scenes story of the cold war intrigue and politics involved in the 1960 Summer Olympics, which were the first to be televised.
