If you are experiencing a divorce and the losses associated with a divorce, joining a Divorce Adjustment and Support group can help.
Beginning in December, 2007 a Divorce Adjustment & Support group formed and is facilitated by Debbie Carter, MS, Family Life Educator. This group meets weekly in the DTC area and provides education with compassionate emotional support, and healthy alternatives to help adults who are divorcing work through these difficult times.
Meet with others who are in a similar situation for 14 weeks to cover topics such as grieving, children, finances, loneliness, forgiveness, etc. A unique feature of the divorce adjustment group is that participants can begin on any week, providing an opening when they are most in need.
The group meets on Monday evenings from 5:30-7PM. The cost for 14 weeks is $125 with a 1/2 price discount available to 4 new partipants.To learn more about the group or to register as a participant, call Debbie at 720.935.2440 or consult
