Join the Colorado Welsh Society and learn Welsh, one of the original Celtic languages. Classes begin Tuesday, October 2, and will meet weekly until the end of May.
Two levels of classes will be offered: a beginners class that starts with the Welsh alphabet, pronounciation and building sentences in the present tense; and an intermediate/advanced class that will add additional tenses and use language skills in conversation and other exercises.
Class starts at 7 pm and run until 8:30 pm, followed by a time for socialization and "te bach" (or "little tea"). Location is the Archdiocese of Denver, 1300 S. Steele Street, Denver. Classroom is in the southern-most building, next to the parking lot.
Classes are free to all members of the Society, and you can join CWS at the first class. Welsh speakers are especially welcomed to help keep conversation going.
For more infomation and to register for the class, please contact Elis Owens,
303-427-7188,
cws-president@mindspring.com.
