Comedy Fundraiser for a Monkey

What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS In March, a member of Monkey's Uncle Comedy Improv received some bad news. Howard was diagnosed with lymphoma, a cancer that affects the white blood cells. The good news is that his prognosis is positive, with his cancer being localized and caught very early. The members of Monkey's Uncle decided to take a cue from Howard's optimistic, "laugh-in-the-face-of-adversity" attitude and are turning our May 12th show into a fundraiser to help Howard with his medical bills. Of course, we believe that laughter is the best medicine in all things anyway. We'll have our usual hilarious hijinks planned including audience-participation, short-form improv games and character skits. But wait, there's more! During the evening the three other male Monkeys will be having their hair shaved off in solidarity of Howard slowly losing his to chemotherapy. All this for only $10! We go on at 7:30 pm on Monday, May 12th at Jazz@Jack's -- located at 500 16th St. #320 in the Denver Pavilions. Join us to help out a friend with an evening of laughter.
