Favorite R&B Artist Hazel Miller to hot-up fundraiser for Colorado's oldest and most successful school for children with learning disabilities.

The Havern School is very pleased to announce their 7 th Annual Garden Party fundraiser on Sunday, May 18 th 2008 from 4-9pm Belmar Center, 405 South Teller Street, Lakewood.

Esteemed guests from the philanthropic, media and educational communities and the Havern diaspora of former students and their families will be serenaded by the soulful stylings of Ms. Miller, while silent and live auctions raise funds for the school's technology department and faculty endowment.

For more than 40 years, The Havern School has been a resource for children and their families living with learning disabilities in the greater Denver Metro Area. Havern is nationally recognized as a singular community of professionals, families and friends working together to address the individual academic, social and emotional needs children with a diversity of language-based, nonverbal learning and other disabilities.

Thanks to Havern, generations of children with special needs have experienced success in the academic environment and beyond. Havern is a non-profit organization and accepts donations for all its educational endeavors including tuition assistance for lower income families.
