The Littleton Symphony Orchestra with Jurgen de Lemos, Music Director and Conductor, presents The Phantom of the Opera - Wagner vs. Verdi at 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2008 at the Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S Datura St. in Littleton. The church is located one mile west of South Broadway, one block south of Littleton Boulevard.

Kara Guggenmos, soprano, and Norman Phillips, baritone, will perform famous arias by both masters. The Wagner selections will include Prelude to Parsifal, Siegfried's Death, and Liebestod (Tristan and Isolde). The selections by Verdi will include La Forza del Destino, and Aida Triumphal March. The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd-Webber will conclude the evening.
