JeanDuane startedperforming when she was five in front of the elementary school and she hasn'tstopped since. Highlights of her singing career include traveling as afeatured soloist in the IBM Players - entertaining at exotic resorts; touredEurope with the Denver Chamber Chorale and regularly soloing with WindjammersJazz Orchestra, Blues 88 and the Jazz Quartet. With a repertoire includesblues, jazz, folk, country, rock, pop, standards and classical, Jean hasperformed at events such as the Fireman's Ball, the Moonlight Classic, MS 100and the Carnation Festival. She was a featured soloist with the ArapahoePhilharmonic.
Jeanstudied voice with Dr. Scott Martin in Colorado and with Dr. Robert Kintner inKentucky. Additionally she studied improv with Edith Weiss, performed inmusical theater and has sung with various bands over the years.
JeanDuane is also an award-winning entrepreneur, guest TV cook, author, and foodevangelist who currently produces DVDs to show how to cook without gluten anddairy in her company called Alternative Cook, LLC (

TheWindjammers Jazz Orchestra has performed for 10th Mountain Division Reunion, Race for the Cure, Ft. LoganMemorial and Veterans Day Ceremonies, Littleton Firefighters Ball, LittletonHistorical Museum, Denver Art Museum, Capitol Hill People's Fair, NationalFederation of the Blind, U.S. Air Force, American Diabetes Foundation, and manycorporate and private functions.
