The Third Annual Madrigal Holiday Dinner Event featuring The Opera Colorado Madrigal Singers - Thursday, December 3, 2009

For those who have never been to a Madrigal event, let us enlighten you a bit.

"A Madrigal Dinner is a re-creation of the Renaissance feasts held in the great baronial halls throughout England during the twelve days of Christmas. All actors remain in character throughout the evening, right down to the knaves and wenches. The feast includes the Lord & Lady of the manor, the invited guests (that would be YOU), wonderful pageantry and pomp, the court jester's humor, endless food, and fantastic music. One minute, the entertainment will be hysterically laughing at the zany activities of the players and the next, you will be treated to gorgeous holiday musical selections (both old world and more recent favorites)."

Portions of the evenings proceeds will benefit The Senior Hub, a nonprofit agency that cares for the elderly in our communities.
