Arts Advisory Committee Seeking Nominations

Think 360 Arts, the state's leading provider of arts education programs and services, has established an advisory committee for the annual MAGIC Arts Supply Drive. The MAGIC program (Making Arts Great in Classrooms) provides music, dance, theater and visual arts supplies to low-income schools in the Denver Metro area. MAGIC (Making Arts Great in Classrooms) started in 2005 when we discovered Colorado teachers spend an average of $400 out of their own pockets to buy arts supplies for their classrooms - that's nearly $400,000 annually! In only three years, the MAGIC drive has collected nearly $100,000 in musical instruments, dance shoes, paint, costumes, clay, cash donations and more, benefiting 75 schools and an estimated 40,000 students.

Think 360 Arts is seeking outgoing, community-oriented individuals who are interested in supporting the continued growth and success of the state's largest and most comprehensive arts supply drive. Nominations are due March 28, 2008. For a nomination form call 720-904-8890 x 105 or email dinac@think360arts.org.
