Colorado Dragon Boat Festival Issues Call for Asian Marketplace

Applications for vendors and exhibitors are now being accepted for the Asian Marketplace at the 7th annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival, to be held July 28-29 at Sloan's Lake Park. APPLICATION DEADLINE is April 13, 2007.
For questions or for more information please contact: media@cdbf.org or go online at www.cdbf.org.

Each year, the Asian Marketplace offers a chance to travel to Asia without leaving Denver. The Asian Marketplace has grown and become a center of commerce for the artisans who display their wares and the restaurants who cook up the delights of their Asian culture. When the festival began seven years ago, there were 32 booths including five food vendors. They were overwhelmed by the response, and most ran out of food before the day was over.

Last year, the Marketplace boasted a record 90 vendors offering Chinese calligraphy, Thai home accessories, Japanese pottery and even acupuncture and massage.
There were almost 30 booths serving a variety of cuisine from many countries, including the Philippines, Thailand, China, Korea and Japan.
The exhibitor and food vendor applications are available on-line at www.cdbf.org.
