Go green for Earth Day, and a little yellow, too, by following Altogether Recycling's charismatic rubber duck, Al Duckether on his new Facebook page.
Alpine Waste & Recycling, Colorado's largest privately held waste and recycling hauler, plans to celebrate Earth Day the same way it has every year - saving the planet one aluminum can at a time. This year, Altogether Recycling's parent company, Alpine Waste & Recycling, has sought the help of Al Duckether to help educate the public about recycling. Thanks to Alpine's Altogether Recycling facility, recycling has never been easier or more productive for the environment and Al Duckether has taken on the challenge of spreading this message. His first stop - Facebook. You can become a "friend" of Mr. Duckether by doing a search of his name on Facebook.
Track the journey of this eco-hero as he makes his harrowing journey from plastic to re-engineered material via cutting-edge recycling technologies at Altogether Recycling. Visit his new Facebook page and talk about environmental ideas and green tips on his discussion board; nominate a business or person for the 'Al Green Award,' for earth-friendly contributions; or see how cardboard, paper products, plastic containers, steel, aluminum and glass has been turned into recycled products by watching his video.
Altogether Recycling is the spot where refuse has turned into re-use since September 2007.
