Wash Park Resident Named Managing Director
Contributed by: Jennifer Watson on 7/1/2008

Point B Solutions Group, LLP, a professional services firm specializing in project leadership, has promoted Jan Mueller of Washington Park and Tim Larson to managing directors of the Denver practice.

Point B established the Denver practice in 2003 to offer local project leaders to local clients. The practice has since become the second-largest in the firm, posting annual revenue growth in excess of 90 percent and consistently ranking among the best employers in the area. To meet continuing market demand, Point B is tapping these seasoned consultants and expanding its executive leadership team.

"Tim and Jan have been an integral part of growing this practice and leading initiatives at the local and national level," said Denver Practice Director Rick Warter of Point B Solutions Group. "They bring complementary strengths to our firm, and it's been great to watch how well they develop others as they take on additional responsibilities themselves."

In their new roles, Mueller and Larson will continue to provide leadership in client service delivery and associate development, while assuming new responsibilities in strategic planning and execution. They will also contribute to national initiatives to share best practices in project leadership across the Point B network of associates.

Tim Larson joined Point B in 2003, after serving with Accenture, GE Capital and Level 3 Communications. He has 21 years of experience leading projects in the telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing and construction industries. He has particular expertise in mergers and acquisitions integration and business process re-engineering. He holds a bachelor's degree in organizational management from the University of Colorado and a master's in business administration from San Diego State University. Larson lives in Superior, Colo.

Jan Mueller came to Point B in 2004, after working for BroadVision, PineCone Systems and The Northern Trust Company. She has more than 20 years of experience leading large-scale system implementations and process re-engineering efforts, particularly in the technology, telecommunications and financial sectors. Mueller holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin. Mueller lives in Denver.

Point B offers project leadership services to a wide range of clients in the Denver area, including the Children's Hospital Association, Colorado Department of Transportation, Denver Water, Exempla Healthcare, Molson Coors Brewing Company and more.
