Google Exec Checks Out Colorado Technologies
Contributed by: Leslie Madsen on 10/1/2007

It's not every day that Tim Armstrong, Google's President of North America for Advertising and Marketing, parachutes into Denver to preside over a keynote dinner presentation for 800 of the top public and private officials representing the IT industry in the State of Colorado.

In addition to recognizing the cool technologies exhibited at the DEMOgala showcase prior to the dinner, it is expected that Armstrong will update the audience on new Google features so come prepared for surprises and possible announcements.

CSIA's third annual DEMOgala is scheduled for October 11th at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Denver. The premier technology event of the year boasts a full day of panels and speakers jammed with CEOs and executives from Microsoft, Mapquest, NewsGator, Groople, Oracle, etc.

DEMOgala 2007 also features over 50 Colorado companies selected to demonstrate their innovations at the technology showcase: companies such as GoFast (JetPack), Tensegrity Prosthetics, VideoBloom and Yes! Golf will be wowing attendees with hands-on exhibits of high tech products for specific users.
