Get zany, be silly and enjoy a day of festivities at Denver's first Tour de Fat cycling circus. Join us on the west end of City Park on 7-7-07 near York St and 20th Ave in the soccer field. Outrageous costumes and bikes welcome! The casual bike parade starts at 11am, their return at 12pm kicks off the main festivities. There will be raffles, live music, unique bikes to ride, vaudeville acts, juggling, great food and New Belgium's line of beers.
Entrance is free. Tour de Fat will be raising money for BikeDenver, Flight for Life and Derailer Bike Collective. Last year Tour de Fat raised more than $166,000.
New Belgium Brewery is committed to environmental sustainability. This traveling show's vehicles use bio-diesel, the sound stages are solar powered and over 85% of the waste from these events is recycled.
