Solar Powered Bubble Tower Sculpture - Come chase
Contributed by: Bill Coleman on 3/27/2008

Bubbles take many different forms. And how we react to bubbles ranges from peaceful contemplation to gleeful chasing! Like fire, light, smoke, or the waving of prayer flags, bubbles can carry your hopes and prayers aloft. Bubbles are a rainbow of color and metaphor. Let bubbles bloom, drift with the breeze and pop into infinity. Let bubbles surround your worries and take them away!

On June 7 and 8 , Bill Coleman brings the solar powered Bubble Tower Sculpture to the Capitol Hill Peoples Fair. This performance is complimentry and open to the public thanks to sponsorship by the folks at www.peoplesfair.com

The Solar Powered Bubble Tower is self sufficient and requires no outside electricity. Being solar powered, with a battery backup, it is quiet and peaceful. Children of all ages are captivated by the endless variety of shapes, sizes, colors and movement of the bubbles. Nearly 14 feet tall, the SPBT produces hundreds of singular bubbles the size of ping pong balls, as well as clusters of bubbles small and large!

The Bubble Tower creates a place at special events where children and adults are free to be childlike, to let their minds and bodies chase the ephemeral bubble of soap, light, thought and emotion.

Be sure and bring your camera!
