Kayaks Conquer Water Pollution
Contributed by: Lee Bley on 4/3/2008

Students at West High School are doing their part to fight water pollution...through art!

Student teams are working with professional mentors to design beautiful kayaks which are being designed to raise awareness of water pollution.

Students and mentors taking part in this project (a part of the Arts & Careers program at West High School) are working with Denver Parks and Rec.

I invite you to interview one of these amazing mentors and/or inspiring students. Please let me know if I can send you more information.
