Beginning of Winter's Wonderland

Beginning of Winter's Wonderland

A black sky of shimmering stars

light up the vast horizon at night.

A full, orange harvest moon is afar;

it looks close because it's so big and bright.

Virgin white snow, clean, pure, and fine

covers the lawn with a sheer, feathery blanket,

of fairy-dust glitter of diamonds that shine

where people are very reluctant to tread.
