Summer fun at Academy Adventures!

Academy Adventures, the summer program at St. Mary's Academy, will kick off this year's camp on June 5. Three two-week sessions in June, July, and August give kids ages 5-14 experiences in recreation, technology, visual and performing arts, science, and academics.

"Academy Adventures is a good summer option because we have many different class offerings as well as an outstanding and caring staff who love being around kids," says Steve Mayfield, St. Mary's Academy Middle School teacher and Academy Adventures director for the past 13 years. The program continues to attract numerous students from St. Mary's Academy and many other schools. Last year, over 180 students enrolled in the program, including five students from out of state.

With a wide-variety of summertime options, Academy Adventures is the camp for students who want to learn and have a great time in the process. Sports camps are also offered for middle and high school students interested in getting a jumpstart on the coming season. Academy Adventures costs range from $275 to $365 per full-day session; half day and full day options. An Extended Day program is also available.
