Extra, Extra, Read All About It!!!!
Contributed by: Lou Bishop on 8/2/2006

We would like to take this opportunity to present the only hard copy newspaper especially designed for school age students, ages 5-18. Hot Off The Press By Kids, Inc. rolled off the press in November 2003 and is distributed in the Denver Metro area and surrounding suburbs. Hot OffThe Press By Kids, Inc, is a newspaper that is written for kids by kids to share their ideas and perspectives with each other through journalism, art, photography and editorial comments on current issues. We are a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote literacy and awareness of the importance of education.

Three grandmothers who have been friends since high school had a vision that eventually evolved into Hot Off The Press By Kids, Inc., a venue that inspires young people to pursue their many talents and develop their self esteem, thus encouraging literacy in our community.

We publish 9 issues a year. Our paper will always be FREE, but we rely on subscriptions ($16.00 a year), or a donation to offset the high cost of printing and distribution. For your convenience the paper will be mailed to your residence. As we grow and expand, our distribution will increase allowing us to reach more and more students. This is our goal.

Mail subscriptions or donations with your name, address and amount to:

Hot Off The Press By Kids, Inc.
