Henry World School Open House 7-8:30 p.m. Jan. 17
Contributed by: Tanya Caughey on 1/9/2008

Henry World School's open house is from 7-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 3005 S. Golden Way in southwest Denver. Refreshments and childcare will be provided. The open enrollment deadline is Jan. 31, 2008 - for students who live outside Henry's boundaries.

Henry is the first public middle school in Denver authorized by the International Baccalaureate Organization to provide an IB education for all students in grades 6-8. An IB education requires students to learn on a deeper level, make connections to the world around them, and ask questions.

At Henry, we graduate students who are intellectually curious about the world, are critical and creative thinkers, and express ideas with confidence. Henry's dedicated and experienced teachers are specially trained in IB education to provide students with exceptional learning opportunities.

Henry offers arts, technology, physical education and community service opportunities to all students as part of the IB curriculum. All students must take either Spanish or French.

Henry collaborates closely with two other southwest Denver IB schools - Sabin International School and John F. Kennedy High School - to offer students from preschool through high school a seamless IB education.

Students throughout the Metro area - from Denver to Littleton to Lakewood - are eligible to attend Henry.

For information, call Henry World School at 720-423-9560 or visit http://henry.dpsk12.org.
