Distinguished Teacher At G. W. High School

William Achbach has been chosen by the Denver Teachers' Awards organization to receive one of their Distinguished Teacher Awards in a city-wide competition.Mr. Achbachteaches Economics, U.S. Government and History at George Washington High School. At the Awards Banquet that will be held Wednesday, April 25,Bill will receive accolades plus a $1,000 prize while his school will receive a gift of $500 and $100 for the Parent Association. Over 30 students, former students, parents and fellow faculty wrote passionate letters in support of Bill's nomination. His teaching excellence has touched and influenced the lives of many Denver Public School students.
