North Denver native Adrienne Rauh has been named volunteer coordinator for Jennifer Coken's campaign to represent House District 4 in the State Legislature.
House District 4 covers much of west and northwest Denver, stretching roughly from 52nd Avenue to Alameda between Federal and Sheridan Boulevards. It includes the Inspiration Point, Berkeley Regis, Sloan's Lake, WestHighlands and Sunnyside neighborhoods.
"I grew up across the street from the parking lot of the old Elitch's and went to school at Alcott, Skinner and North High," Rauh said. "I've been a part of this neighborhood my whole life and expect to be here until the day I die. I decided it's time to get more involved in helping the neighborhood. And I decided to join Jennifer's campaign because she's the person I want representing us in the Legislature."
"Adrienne has the kind of intelligence, enthusiasm and determination that have helped transform west and northwest Denver into such a vibrant area," Coken said. "I'm delighted she decided to use my campaign to actively enter the world of politics."
Coken said her campaign is looking for volunteers who can help her reach out to voters in HD4. People who want to volunteer can contact Adrienne at VolunteerforCoken@gmail.com.
