Untitled at the Denver Art Museum

You approach the familiar, angled facade of the Denver Art Museum (DAM), jutting into the Golden Triangle skyline, enter the building and view the usual, great art and artifacts the museum has amassed - all in all an enjoyable, but typical, afternoon. But when the sun has gone down, the entrance is filled with thumping DJ tunes, odd graphics are projected on the walls and people are playing with something called a "rhythm spanker" in the corner, it clearly doesn't feel like a routine museum trip. Nope, it's Untitled night.

Created to appeal to a younger audience, this last Friday event series helps you to connect with collections in unexpected ways. I chatted with Sonnet Hanson and Kristy Bassuener from the DAM to find out about the quirky concept...
