From Despair to Ripley's Believe It or Not/ author
Contributed by: Thomas Jaskson on 3/30/2008

Terry Dwight Coleman, the man known for singing 849 hymns to bring awareness to the plight of the homeless in 2005, had a successful book signing at the Tattered Cover on March 13th. He sold 29 books. Many of you remember Terry Coleman being announced as the man who set a world record in The Book of Alternative Records, Record Holders Republic, and being featured in Ripley's Believe It or Not for his super-human feat. Terry holds the rights to his book, Don't Give Up, Don't Give In. He is praying that one of the major Christian book companies will be interested in his story of faith. Terry is also praying that YourHub.com will include his article in the Rocky Mountain News insert of YourHub that runs on Thursdays. Many people don't know that 20% of the royalties from his book will be donated and split among The Denver Rescue Mission, The Samaritan House, The National Coalition for the Homeless, and Season to Share. Terry said, "There is one thing I'd like to tell the youth today, follow their dreams. Whatever they put their minds to, they can do and remember, 'with God all things are possible' (Matthew 19:26)." Terry can be contacted at 303-585-0647 or 303-321-3248.
