Capitol Steps Comedy -Direct from DC to Denver
Contributed by: Sarah Werner on 9/15/2007

What do George Bush, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani and Nancy Pelosi have in common? They are all guests of the wickedly funny Capitol Steps Comedy troupe who will make their Colorado appearance October 13th at the Paramount Theater.
Take a break from partisan politics and laugh at the news with the musical comedy of the Capitol Steps. Their political satire of singing parodies takes potshots at the outrageous goings-on in and outside of Washington, D.C.---touching on topics from McCain's "little jerks" to Hillary's recipe for a successful marriage. Featuring current and former Congressional staffers, the Capitol Steps have recorded 24 albums since their first perfomance in 1981, and have entertained the last five presidents. Produced by the Cherry Creek Rotary Club and sponsored by Colorado BIZ, the event will raise money for the Club's foundation projects focusing on improving the health and literacy of children at home and abroad.
Tickets for the 8pm performance may be purchased at www.tickethorse.com, and include parking.
