Target Saturday's and find Super Entertainment!
Contributed by: SM Merchant on 10/1/2007

Did you know that Target sponsors quality entertainment for the Denver Public Library and its branches every Saturday? --and it's freefor all! This past Saturday, Sunny Marie Hackman and Cheri Seeton, aka The Sunny and Cher(i) Show, were the featured entertainers at the Park Hill Library, located at 4705 Montview Boulevardand Dexter.

"Moo-nique and Cheery Chicken" opened the show, but it almost didn't go on because the cow couldn't find her moo! Thanks to the children, everything turned out all right, and the show continued with madcap humor, song, magic and more.

Cheri performed her original story, "Penelope, the Girl Who Wore Too Much," doing a reverse clown, helping the younger ones realize that clowns really aren't that scary if they evolve gradually. There were lots of opportunities for audience participation, with costumes and magic sprinkled throughout! Every child received a balloon sculpture at the close of the show.

Have you ever heard of a clown who can smell fingerprints? Come to the next library show and see how she does it. The Sunny and Cher(i) Show pops up next at the Valdez-Perry Library, located at 4690 Vine Street, October 13, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. See you at the library -- the best seat in the house!
