Annual petting zoo at Celebration Community Church
Contributed by: Dan Hoglund on 3/15/2007

Have your kids seen more zoo animals than farm animals? When is the last time they saw a goat, sheep, pony, cow, chicken, llama, rabbit or donkey? If it's been too long, join us for our annual Palm Sunday petting zoo from 8:30-1:30 on April 1.

Palm Sunday is the day we remember Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem, exactly one week before Easter. Matthew 21:7-8 reads, "They brought the donkey and the colt, placed their cloaks on them, and Jesus sat on them. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road." Our petting zoo bring history to life for children, as they imagine what it was like to ride into town on a donkey.

Celebration Community Church is located at 1650 S. Birch St, Denver. For more information, please visit our Web site at www.thepartychurch.com or call 303-756-4994.
