About Friends of Manual
Friends of Manual High School is an organization dedicated to supporting the academic achievement and high school experience of students at Manual. The 'Bolts are Back events of May 9 are Friends of Manual's way of bringing the school community, past, present and future, together. In particular, Friends of Manual is honoring the class of 2011, the current freshmen leading the school to new heights since closure during the 2006-2007 school year.

Rob Stein, a Manual graduate and respected school leader in Colorado, is leading the school into its new era where students will find an environment that supports their learning and development and is centered on high expectations and opportunities. Denver Public Schools (DPS) believes that Manual High School will emerge as a premier high school in Denver and has committed to give continuous support to its students. By the 2010-2011 school year, Manual will be a fully developed 9 th- through 12th-grade high school.

Those unable to attend The 'Bolts are Back events on May 9 but who still wish to make a contribution to Friends of Manual can make checks payable to Friends of Manual High School, 1700 E. 28 th Ave., Denver, CO 80205
