Breakfast for Boobs raises funds for breast cancer
Contributed by: Erin Feese/YourHub.com on 5/12/2008

Hot Cakes Diner, 1400 E. 18th Ave., Denver, was hoppin' the evening of May 11 as people celebrated Mother's Day while raising money for breast cancer research. The Denver chapter of Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails (LUPEC) held its fourth annual Breakfast for Boobs fundraiser. The ladies from LUPEC donned aprons and waited tables, while Hot Cakes' cooks volunteered their time to serve up breakfast for dinner. The owner of Hot Cakes donated the space as well, since the diner is usually only open for breakfast and lunch.

Event proceeds were donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Denver Metro chapter).
