The Purple Martini, a lounge that raises the bar on nightlife in Colorado, announces that it will host a bikini contest on May 22 and a fashion show on May 29; both events will occur at the Purple Martini Tabor Center (16 th and Lawrence Streets, Denver).

On Thursday, May 22, Zolarium Tanning and Inner Strength Fitness will hold a bikini contest at 9:00 p.m. The event will benefit Fired Up for Kids, a nonprofit organization that donates proceeds to The Children's Hospital Burn Center. The top ten of this contest will have the chance to participate in a May 29 fashion show.

On Thursday, May 29, Metro Boom and Swank will host a fashion show at the Purple Martini Tabor Center at 9:00 p.m. The event will benefit the Denver Harlequins Wheelchair Rugby Team, which is Colorado's premier team for athletes with quadriplegia.
