Chinese New Year Celebration

Great Wall Chinese Academy teams up with Christina Yeh Dance Studio and Highlands Ranch Community Association to celebrate Chinese New Year with our local community through on-stage performance and cultural fair. The on-stage performance present a cultural program that features exciting Chinese dragon and lion dances, beautiful Chinese folk dances, amazing Chinese martial arts - Kung Fu, and well-prepared choral and instrumental performances. All performers are talented school-age individuals. All children (including ages 2 and under) will receive a red envelope, the traditional means of giving a blessing to the younger generation. The cultural fair offers shops for Chinese souvenirs and exhibitions of beautiful Chinese folk arts. Learn more about this rich culture by experiencing the traditions of Chinese New Year. It is a joyful event for all.

Time: Sat, Feb 10, 2008, 1-4PM Cultural Fair, 2-3 On-stage Performance
Location: Southridge Recreation Center of Highlands Ranch, 4800 McArthur Ranch Rd, CO80126
Tickets: Available for $5.00 per person in advance and $7.00 at the door. Ages 2 and under are free. You may purchase tickets in advance at any HRCA Recreation Center facility. Call 303.791.2500, or pay at the door. All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be given.
