Interactive agency Malenke | Barnhart invites Denver's dogs and their companions to enjoy Howlween, a canine costume contest and yappy hour.

Howlween is co-sponsored by Flying Dog Brewery, which means plenty of beer for all entrants. Other sponsors include Denver Zoo, CW2, Blake Street Tavern, Sit Happens, Dog Savvy, Grand Paws Doggie Day Care and Brix.

Adults 21 and over are invited and encouraged to enter their dogs in a costume contest. Judges will award prizes to the top three costumes, as well as for the first 10 costumed pooches that register.

Entry is $2 per dog, with all proceeds being donated to MaxFund, a non-profit organization which provides medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and seeks new homes for these animals once they have recovered. Visit www.howlween.com for more information.
