Driving for love
Contributed by: Rocio Rowland on 2/12/2007

I am mexican and my husband is american. Since I came to live to this country, he always helped me, with the language, the buses, etc. Last year I got my citizenship and driving license, if it wouldn't be by him, I wouldn't never get both things. But the biggest proof of love that he gave me was last December, we drove all the way from Denver to Mexico City and back. When I was tired and I couldn't drive anymore, he took his turn and kept driving and driving, I don't knowhow he was doing that, but he kept driving, we got toMexico faster than Iever imagined, he knew that I was anxious to see my family. He doesn't like to drive at all, he always commute by bus, so for me that was a big surprise. We drove for 2 days either way, of course, we rest but anyway for me was surprising how he kept driving and driving to get me to Mexico City soon.
