110 hours for 110 years
On 3/9/2006
Contributed by: Jim White on 3/17/2006

To celebrate the Volunteers of America's 110th birthday, Frontier Airlines and Volunteers of America joined together to promote volunteerism. Both organizations are challenging people throughout Colorado to give 110 hours a year of service to the charity of their choice. Frontier Airlines employees accepted the challenge and kicked off their pledge by volunteering to sort thousands of Scholastic books for low-income children. In as little as two hours per week, every individual can meet this challenge and truly have an impact on the life of someone needing a little help. If you do not know where to get started, call the Volunteers of America Colorado Branch, 303-297-0408.
